The VOTIV 7 is an ultrasonic humidifier that shatters water into a fine, visible mist to add moisture to the air. The humidifier is controlled via a touch-sensitive power control, allowing users to adjust mist settings and illumination preferences. It also incorporates a low water indicator and an auto-shutoff feature for safety and convenience.

Cleaning Instructions:
1. Turn off, unplug, and disconnect the adapter from the base.
2. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water from the base.
3. Wipe down and clean the water tank with a mild detergent, then rinse with clean tap water.
4. To clean the ultrasonic disk (located at the inside center of the base), apply 5-10 drops of vinegar to its surface, wait 2-5 minutes, and gently clean with a soft-tipped cotton swab. Do not scrub or scrape the disk.
5. Clean the water basin with a soft cloth or soft-tipped cotton swab and rinse with clean tap water. Do NOT submerge the base in water.
6. Wipe the outer surface of the unit with a soft, damp cloth as needed.
Storage: Before storing, the humidifier should be completely dry, with no water in the tank or base. Unplug the power cord and bundle it loosely. Cover the unit or place it back in its retail carton to prevent dust accumulation. Store in a cool and dry location.
Safety During Maintenance: Always turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning, moving, or servicing. Do not use gasoline, thinners, solvents, ammonias, or other chemicals for cleaning. Do not open the appliance housing while plugged in. All service and repairs must be done by contacting Vornado Consumer Service.
