Why is my Shure SC signal noisy?
- WWilliam PaulJul 31, 2025
A noisy signal from your Shure Microphone system can stem from several factors. First, check the battery fuel gauge and replace the battery if the power is low. Strong local sources of interference can also cause noise, so try to identify and remove them if possible. You might also need to reposition the receiver or antennas, or change the system frequency. Ensure that two transmitters aren't operating on the same frequency, and if the signal is weak, move the receiver antennas closer to the transmitter. Adjusting the receiver squelch control and the transmitter audio gain control may also help.
