1. Disable the BOOTP/DHCP function in SIG350 by setting Attribute 3 of the TCP/IP
interface object to 0, for example, when clicking Rockwell BOOTP/DHCP server,
click Disable BOOTP/DHCP.

After a reboot, the SIG350 starts with the IP address that was previously assigned
and saved in non-volatile memory.
You can use the RSLinx Classic tool to recheck that the controller recognizes the IP
address that was set.
2. Start the RSLinx Classic (usually from your PC/notebook Start menu under Rock‐
well Software, RSLinx, RSLinx Classic).
3. Click on RSWho.
4. Then open the path AB_ETHIP1,Ethernet.
The SIG350 is accessible via its IP address.
Setting up connection
1. Start Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
2. Right-click the Ethernet icon, then click on New Module....

The Select Module Type dialog is displayed.
