Disposing of batteries
The law requires that all spent standard and rechargeable batteries be returned to their manufacturer; they must not be
disposed of as household waste. Dispose of the batteries as required by the relevant authorities. Hand them in for recycling.
These batteries will be recycled as they may contain e.g. nickel oxide hydroxide and cadmium (Ni-Cd), lead (Pb), cadmium
(Cd) or mercury (Hg).

*1 If the door repeatedly fails to lock correctly, the locking action should be checked manually. To do this, use the cylinder
key to lock and unlock the door with the door shut. It must be possible to turn the key through two fulls turns without pushing

cause a malfunction in the GENIUS door lock when the key is removed from the lock.
