USB cables
● For the connection of:
– CNC keyboard of the MCP (X302) to the monitor (X61/X62).
– External USB devices, such as the mouse or keyboard, to the PC or the monitor.
Max. cable length: 3 m
● Signal cable (USB link) for the connection of the monitor (X63/X60) to the PC.
– Connection to X63 (RJ45 socket): Max. cable length: 30 m
Note
● A CAT6 cable is required. A ferrite core must be attached to each end of the cable
close to the connector. The two ferrite cores are included in the IFP and IPC scope
of delivery.
● Use the supplied strain relief clamps and cable ties for the cable grip of the USB link
cable at the IPC end. Use a TORX T10 screwdriver for this.
● The USB link is a pure hardware solution and therefore independent of the operating
system. An additional driver or software does not have to be installed.
– Connection to X60 with USB type B standard cable: Max. cable length: 5 m
Display cable
Connection between the monitor (X70/X71) and the PC (X70/X72).
Max. cable length: 30 m
Ethernet cables
● Connection between the MCP (X20) and the NCU (X120).
● Connection between the PC (X1) and the MCP (X21).
This cable must be ordered separately. Recommendations:
– Industrial Ethernet FastConnect cable
– Industrial Ethernet FastConnect connectors
The corresponding order numbers can be found in Section Accessories (Page 55).
Max. cable length: 100 m
NOTICE
Chafing edges can damage cables
Make sure that all cables are routed so that they do not come into contact with chafing edges.
