HVAC Products 19 Addendum 4: LMV52... with O2 trim control and O2 module 13.08.2004
19.10 Configuration of the system
(Description of the plant-dependent basic configuration)
First, make all configurations as described in detail with the LMV51... system.
19.10.1 Actuators / VSDs
When activating the actuators / VSDs in menu section «RatioControl», parameteriza-
tion comprises «Activation» and «Deactivation» and, in addition, «air influencing». Air-
influencing actuators have an impact on the amount of air. The actuators defined as air-
influencing actuators are used for O
2 trim control. Basically, all actuators having an im-
pact on the air volume are to be parameterized as «air-influencing». In exceptional
cases, a truly air-influencing actuator can be excluded from O
2 trim control by setting it
to «activated».
If the parameterization is changed, O2 trim control must be readjusted.
Parameter: Air actuator (deactivated, activated, air influen)
Parameter: Auxiliary actuator 1 (deactivated, activated, air influen)
Parameter: Auxiliary actuator 2 (deactivated, activated, air influen)
Parameter: Auxiliary actuator 3 (deactivated, activated, air influen)
Parameter: VSD (deactivated, activated, air influen)
deactivated: Actuator is not active.
activated: Actuator is active but has no impact on the air volume. Actuator is not
used for O
2 trim control.
air infuen: Actuator is active and has an impact on the air volume. Actuator is
used for O
2 trim control.
19.10.2 Parameterization of the type of fuel
For calculating precontrol and combustion efficiency, the type of fuel burnt must be se-
lected.
Also refer to section 19.3 Precontrol.
For firing on gas, there are 4 preprogrammed fuel types available, plus 1 type of fuel
that can be defined by the user.
Parameter: Type of Fuel (user def, naturalGasH, naturalGasL, propane, bu-
tane)
For firing on oil, there are 2 preprogrammed types of fuel available, plus 1 type that can
be defined by the user.
Parameter: Type of Fuel (user def, LightOilLO, LightOilHO)
