Answering or rejecting a call
Accepting a call
Your handset rings Æ Page 30. The caller information
appears on the display. The name and/or telephone
number of the caller can be displayed. You have the fol-
lowing options for answering a call:
either
Press the display key. Your phone no longer rings. The
caller still hears the on-hook signal.
c or d Press the Talk key or Speakerphone key.
or The handset is in the charging shell:
k Remove the handset from the charging shell (only
works if "Auto Answer" is active, Æ Page 30).
or The handset is not in the charging shell.
c or d Press the Talk key or Speakerphone key.
When you have accepted the call you can:
transfer the call (initiate callback function)
Æ Page 58,
place the call on hold (microphone off function) to
consult with someone else in the room Æ Page 58,
place the call on hold (callback function) and call a
second partner Æ Page 43 in order to forward
Æ Page 58 or toggle the call Æ Page 59 or to set up
a conference Æ Page 60.
Rejecting a call
If you do not wish to be disturbed, you can reject the
call.
Confirm the message displayed with one of the two dis-
play keys. The call is rejected and the caller hears the
busy tone. The caller is then connected to the mailbox
(if configured).
Ending a call
a or k Press the On-hook key or place the handset in the
charging shell.
The call charges are displayed, depending on the com-
munication system.
