30.3.5 Controller with operation lock
The room unit acts fully on the controller also when an operation locking function on the
controller has been activated (operating lines 195 and / or 196: Setting
>0).
30.3.6 Entry of holiday periods
With the help of the QAW70 room unit, the controller can be switched to the holiday
mode. To be entered is the duration of the holiday period in days. The LCD of the room
unit displays the entry as follows:
• The weekday on which the holiday period ends appears on the left (1 = Monday, 2 =
Tuesday, etc.)
• The number of days of the holiday period appears on the right
The holiday mode starts the moment the entry is made.
In the holiday mode, the controller responds as follows:
• The heating circuit is switched to standby (when there is risk of frost, the frost protec-
tion temperature will be maintained)
• D.h.w. heating is switched off (when there is risk of frost, the frost protection tempera-
ture will be maintained)
• The holiday function is given priority over the operating mode of the room unit
During the holiday period, the operating mode buttons of space heating
and
d.h.w. heating
flash, provided the function was previously activated.
The holiday function can prematurely be deactivated by pressing the operating mode
button of the room unit.
The holiday function of the room unit operates independently of the controller’s holiday
function, which means that the holiday dates will not be matched.
30.4 Room temperature sensor QAA10
Room sensor QAA10 can be used in place of a room unit.
The QAA10 acquires the room temperature with an NTC sensing element; its sensing
range is 0…32 °C.
