2. Function description
8 binary DC voltage signals are adapted, floating, to the SIMADYN D signal level using the SB61
interface board.
Using the same interface board, system-side signal voltages of 48V and/or 24V can be processed.
The system side of the board has 8 input channels which are electrically isolated (between one
another). Using short-circuit plugs, the connections of each channel can be connected-up to provide 2
versions:

When supplied, the board corresponds to version 2, i.e., terminal pair X11 to X18 is each equipped
with two short-circuit plugs. Each channel can be modified to correspond to either version 1 or version
2, but all of the channels for version 2 are not floating with respect to one another. The terminal block
on the process side X2 has 24 screw terminals:
Terminals 1 to 8 for 24V, terminals 11 to 18 for 48V, terminals 51 to 58 as reference point.
