3. Board design
* Housing, can be snapped onto a mounting rail
* Terminal block consisting of screw terminals:
- 8 terminals as 24V binary inputs
- 8 terminals as 48V binary inputs
- 8 terminals as reference point
- 1 terminal pair X4, 2P,2M (external voltage)
- 1 terminal pair X3, 1P,1M (voltage on the SIMADYN side)
Test socket with output 2P and 2M
* Short-circuit plug connector
* Ribbon cable connector
- 8 pins for binary outputs
- 2 pins for 1P, 1M
* Display, LEDs
- Green: 1P,1M supply available on the SIMADYN D side
- Red: 1P,1M supply short-circuited (fault)
- Yellow: Binary signals 1 to 8 active
* Optocoupler for electrically isolating input and output
* Labels or print to identify the board, LEDs and the test socket
4. Application information
The binary outputs of the interface board can be connected with the SIMADYN D board inputs via a
distribution ribbon cable 40/4*10 core, type: SC13, MLFB: 6DD 1684-0BD0, length: 2.0m.
