4.2 Installing on an S7-300 standard rail
Procedure
WARNING
Danger of injury by falling objects
When used in an area with heavy load, the device is not adequately supported on an
S7-300 standard rail. Under such conditions, the device can come out of the mounting.
If you use the device in a heavy load area, mount it on an S7-1500 mounting rail or on
the wall.
Follow the steps below to fit the SCALANCE W774/W734 to an S7-300 standard rail:
1. Place the device on the upper edge of the S7-300 standard rail as shown in the figure.
2. Screw the housing to the S7-300 standard rail. The required screw ships with the
SCALANCE W774/W734.
3. Mount the connecting cables and the antenna, see section "Connecting up (Page 35)".
