4 Installing and setting the Video Recorder
For Memoskop C-E (without keyboard) 1
Switch on the system.
On Memoskop C-E, the keyboard connector includes an adapter.
Connect the Service PC to the adapter on Memoskop C-E and start Windows.
Call up the "terminal.exe" program.
Set the following in the "terminal.exe" program:
Adjust to the interface being used (COM1 / COM2).
The keyboard is now emulated with the service PC.
Simultaneously press the [CTRL] and [U] keys on the service PC.
This calls the User Setup menu for Memoskop.
Call up the "B output for video recorder" submenu.
Perform the configuration for monitor A.
(Perform the configuration for monitor B only by special customer request.)
End the User menu.
Switch the SIREMOBIL Compact off and on again to activate the new configuration.
Function check 1
Set the video recorder to exposure.
WIth Fluoro, move the collimator blades slightly into the field.
Release fluoro for approximately 20 seconds.
Stop the video recorder and rewind the tape.
Connect a 50 Hz / 60 Hz monitor to the video output of the video recorder and replay the
scene.
Concluding work 1
Switch OFF the SIREMOBIL .
Test the protective conductor with the protective conductor meter 44 15 899 RV 090 .

The service PC keyboard does not include the >|< (Home) key.
Instead, in the main User Setup menu enter the letter "O". Enter
the next unused number in the sub-menu of the User Setup.
Example: The last sub-menu is called up by entering the number
12. -> The >|< (Home) key would be emulated by entering the num-
ber 13.
