Fast access
key
The right soft key and the number
keys 2 to 9 (speed dialling numbers)
can each be assigned an important
phone number or a function. The
phone number can then be dialled or
the function can be started at the
touch of a button.
Left soft key
Assign a function/phone number to
the left soft key for fast access.
Edit
§Camera§ Press briefly.
§Edit§ Scroll to new application in
the list.
• Assign a new application (e.g.
New SMS) to the soft key.
• Special case Phone No. From con-
tacts/SIM, pick out a name (e.g.
"Carol") to assign to the soft key.
§Select§ Confirm setting.
Apply
The setting "Carol" is used here only
as an example.
§Carol§ Hold down.
Speed keys
Number keys 2 to 9 can be used as
speed dialling numbers for fast
access. Number key 1 is reserved for
the mailbox (p. 51).

Press a number key in
standby mode (2–9). If the
key is not yet assigned:
§Set§ Press.
I
Select application.
§Select§ Confirm setting.
For Phone No. pick out a
name from contacts for
assignment to the key.
§Edit§ See "Left soft key".
Apply
Start a stored application or dial a
phone number.
