Button Selection Description
 (Remote Start) ¡ Activate

If you briefly press the button, the appliance will
be enabled for remote start via the HomeCon-
nect app
If you press the button for approx. 3 seconds, the
HomeConnect menu opens.
Notes

Remote start cannot be activated for safety
reasons in the following circumstances:
– The door is open.
– The detergent drawer has not been
pushed in fully.

Remote start is deactivated for safety reasons
in the following circumstances:
– Open the door.
– Press inicio/pausa+carga.
– Press  .
– Switch off the appliance.
– Following a power cut.

Activate or deactivate the childproof lock.
Disable the control panel to prevent unwanted or
accidental operation.
If the childproof lock is activated and the appli-

Activate or deactivate prewash, e.g. for washing
heavily soiled laundry.
Note:If the intelligent dosing system is activated,
the detergent will be dispensed automatically for
the prewash and the main wash.
If the intelligent dosing system is deactivated,
place the detergent for the prewash directly in
the drum.
extra (Extra Rinse) ¡ Activate
¡ Deactivate
Activate or deactivate an additional rinse cycle.
Recommended for particularly sensitive skin or
in regions with very soft water.

Activate or deactivate the reduced creasing pro-
gramme.
In order to reduce creasing in the laundry, the
spin cycle and the spin speed are adapted.
The laundry is damp enough after washing that it
needs to be hung out on a washing line.
