4.1 DESIGN
The machine consists of the following main assemblies
(see Fig. 1).
The description refers to a generally autho-
ritative drawing, showing an example of such
a machine. The layout of the assemblies not perma-
nentlyxedtothemachinecanvary.
4 DESCRIPTION
Packages, barrels, building blocks, etc. can be
strapped horizontally with this strapping machine.
Strappingcanbedividedintovemainfunctions:
– plastic strap fed through strap guides
– strapping head driven to package
– plastic strap retracted and tensioned
– plastic strap cut off and welded
– strapping head driven into initial position
