6.3 Changing the battery
Malfunction of the position indicator
The position indicator shows no function when the battery has been
mounted incorrectly. The current position value will be lost (execute cali-
bration).
` Correctly insert battery compartment

(see Fig. 5).
Battery change does not cause loss of parameters. Only the position value
must be set to the correct position value afterwards by calibration (see
chapter 5.4).
Preparation:
1. Place the replacement battery ready (see chapter 6.1).
Deinstallation (see Fig. 5):
1. Axially pull out the battery compartment.
2. Disposal the old battery refer to chapter 7.
Installation (see Fig. 5):
1. Insert new battery

. Mind the correct polarity.
2. Completely insert the battery compartment

3. Check the function of the LCD display.
