Unsatisfactory wash results
Fault Possible cause Solution
The dishes are
not clean.
The dishes were not ar-
ranged correctly.
Arrange the dishes correctly (see
section “10.7. Arranging the dishes
and cutlery” on page 25).
The selected program was
not suitable.
Select a more intensive program
(see section “11.5. Selecting a
wash program” on page 31.
Not enough detergent was
used.
Use more or another detergent.
Individual dishes are
blocking the path of the
spray arm.
Rearrange the dishes so that the
spray arm can move freely.
The filter (5) is not inserted
or is fitted incorrectly.
Clean and/or insert the filter cor-
rectly. Also clean the spray arm
(see section “12.3. Cleaning the
appliance” on page 37).
White spots
on the dishes/
glasses
Hard water can lead to li-
mescale deposits.
Check the water softener settings
or the salt container level.
Black or grey
spots on the
dishes
Aluminium cutlery/acces-
sories have come into con-
tact with the plates.
Use a mild detergent to remove
the spots.
The detergent
compartment
(8) still contains
detergent after
the wash cycle.
The lid of the detergent
compartment was blocked
by dishes.
Rearrange the dishes.
