Capturing Pictures
Quick Guide
Power the camera on by pressing the On/Off button [1]. The device
is now in capture mode.
Point the camera at the subject and check the composition of your
picture on the display [10].
If necessary, press the Zoom button [5] to zoom in (T - Tele) the
subject. Or press the Zoom Wide button [6] to zoom out the subject.
Press the shutter button [4] halfway down. This will enable the auto-
focus.
The camera will try to focus the area contained within the
focus area [page 19, item 9]. This will depend on the
lighting conditions and the distance to the subject. After the
subject has been focused successfully, the focus frame will
become green and a double beep can be heard.
Now press the shutter button [4] fully down to take the picture. A
shutter sound can be heard.
