Digital Zoom
Besides the 3x optical zoom, your camera features a 12x digital zoom. You
can enable it here, if desired. Digital zoom is an electronic enlargement of a
portion of the image and will cause a lower picture quality than the optical
zoom.
The following options are available:
Option Description
Intelligent Zoom Automatic digital zoom setting
Standard Zoom Full digital zoom on
Off No digital zoom
In order to better use the digital zoom there is an intelligent setting. This will
use the digital zoom up to an enlargement that will still be acceptable in the
sense of picture graininess. The value will depend on the distance from the
subject and the environmental lighting conditions.
Please make sure you hold the camera completely still and
stable in order to avoid shaky captures. We recommend using a
tripod.
System Sound
Determine if you want the camera to emit signal sounds.
Select Yes to enable the sound or select No to disable it. This setting will not
influence the sound output for video recordings or voice memos.
Volume
You can set the output volume in five levels or select Volume 0 to mute the
sound.
