Scene modes
Scene modes give quick and easy access to preset shooting parameters for
different photography conditions. Furthermore, here you can also access the
video and voice recording features.
How to use the scene modes:
Power the camera on by pressing the On/Off button [1]. The device
is now in capture mode.
Tap the
button to open the Record menu.
Tap the icon for the current scene mode.
When enabling a scene mode, the corresponding icon will be displayed on
the LCD (see page 19 – item 1).
You can choose from the following preset programmes:
Icon Description
The camera will adjust automatically to the
shooting conditions and performs the required
settings.
Program
Aperture and shutter speed will be set
automatically.
Portrait
The background will result slightly blurred
while the focus is on the subject.
Landscape
For panoramic and landscape shots.
Sunset
Emphasizes the red tones for capturing sunset
images.
Backlight
To capture a subject with backlight by
changing the metering.
