Setting option Function
AE measurement The AE (auto exposure) measurement function
determines the optimum settings for the aper-
ture and shutter.
Centre: In this setting, the light values are
determined in the centre of the screen. This
setting is suitable for balanced light conditions
such as when shooting light subjects against
dark backgrounds and the reverse.
Average: In this setting, the average brightn
ess
of the whole picture is measured. This setting is
suitable for high-contrast shooting (landscapes /
people / portraits).
