The Fitness Wristband contains an optical sensor which can
be used to measure your pulse in real time. To start measure-
ment, switch to the pulse measurement view.

To activate, hold down the “Touch“ button

for 3 seconds
and then release the button as soon as ”detecting...” is shown
on the display. The Fitness Wristband will then start to record
your pulse. As soon as the Fitness Wristband has recorded a
pulse, the value measured will appear on the display. If the
Fitness Wristband cannot record a pulse, firstly the display
will read ”Wear tightly”. If it continues not to record a pulse,
”No Signal” will appear in the display.
If this happens, check whether the optical sensor on the back has
enough skin contact and is free of skin particles or dust. If you have
very hairy arms and/or tattoos, this can have a negative impact on
measurement.
