. Charging the device
Charge the battery of the hands-free car kit fully before using it for the first time.
 Connect the USB-C plug of the supplied USB charging cable to the port on the device
(see Fig. E).
 Insert the USB-A plug into a suitable USB port.
 Use the supplied USB charging cable with car USB charging adapter when charging
via an on-board power socket (in the car, boat or camper van) with /VDC.
When power is supplied via an on-board power socket: do not charge for
long periods when the vehicle engine is switched off to prevent the vehicle bat-
tery from becoming fully discharged.
 Charge the device as soon as the telephone button () flashes red, at the latest when
the “Battery low” signal tone sounds.
When the device is fully charged, the operating light on the telephone button () goes out.
