Dirt and burnt-on food residues on the surface of the heating zones (1, 3) can be cleaned off using a
scraper for glass hotplates and an appropriate detergent.
9. Troubleshooting
If your induction hotplate does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the
problem. If working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" on page 85).

Never try to repair the appliance yourself.

Connect the power cable (2) to a live mains

Place a pan on the heating zone (1 or 3).
Cookware not suitable for
induction
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Incorrect heating zone (1,
3) switched on
Operate the left heating zone (1) using the
on/off switch (11) on the left control panel
(B). Operate the right heating zone (3) using
the on/off switch (11) on the right control
panel (C).
Error E0 is shown on

No pan on the heating
zone (1 or 3)
Place a pan on the heating zone (1 or 3).
Incorrect heating zone (1,
3) switched on
Switch the correct heating zone (1 or 3) on or
move the pan to the heating zone (1 or 3) you
have switched on.
Cookware not suitable for
induction
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Cookware is too small in
diameter or not standing
centrally on the heating
zone (1 or 3).
Only use cookware with a diameter of between
16 and 26 cm and place it on the centre of the
heating zone (1 or 3).
