Descaling
The appliance must be descaled regularly to maintain its maximum
performance. The frequency of descaling depends on the quality of the water
and the frequency with which the appliance is used.
We recommend that you descale the appliance either once a year or after
50 hours of total use. We recommend descaling immediately, however, if you
notice that the appliance is generating less steam.
NOTE
You can do this with a regular descaling agent containing citric acid.
Also observe the instructions for the descaling agent.
1) Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down.
2) Add the descaling agent to the water tank
.
3) Plug the mains cable
- into the power socket and turn on the power by
pressing the On/Off switch
. The blue LED flashes.
4) Allow the descaling agent to take effect for a few minutes.
5) Press the steam button
and start steaming an old piece of cloth with the
steam brush.
6) Afterwards, refill the water tank
with pure water and steam another old
cloth to remove descaler residues.
