14. Transporting the appliance
Always transport the appliance vertically, wherever possible. If necessary, it is also possi-
ble to transport the appliance on its back.
15. Troubleshooting
Technical faults
Fault Possible cause Solution
The appliance
does not start.
Fuse defective or circuit
breaker tripped
Change the fuse or switch on the
circuit breaker again. Make sure
that the electric circuit is protected
with at least 10 ampere.
Switch the appliance on.
Appliance door is not ful-
ly closed
Close the door correctly. It must
audibly click into position.
Power supply interrupted Connect the mains plug (20) to a
socket correctly.
Water was not
pumped out of
the dishwasher.
Drain hose is kinked Route the hose so that it is not
kinked.
Filter (5) blocked Clean the filter (5) regularly.
Drain blocked Check the drain. Make sure the
drain hose is properly installed.
General faults
Fault Possible cause Solution
Foam in the
appliance
Incorrect detergent Only use detergent that is suitable
for household dishwashers.
If foam has formed, open the ap-
pliance and wait approx. 20–30
minutes until the foam has reced-
ed.
Fill the water tank with 1.5 l wa-
ter and allow the water to drain
manually.
If necessary, repeat the process
several times until the foam has
been rinsed away.
