Unsatisfactory wash result

The dishes are
not clean.
The dishes were not ar-
ranged correctly.
Arrange the dishes correctly (see
section “9.7. Arranging the dishes
and cutlery” on page 73).
The selected program was
not suitable.
Select a more intensive program
(see section “10.5. Selecting a
wash program” on page 79.
Not enough detergent was
used.
Use more or another detergent.
Individual dishes are
blocking the path of the
spray arm.
Rearrange the dishes so that the
spray arm can move freely.
The filter (5) is not inserted
or is fitted incorrectly.
Clean and/or insert the filter cor-
rectly. Also clean the spray arm
(see section “11.3. Cleaning the
appliance” on page 83).
Glasses are
spotted.
Combination of soft water
and too much detergent
Use less detergent if you have soft
water and use the shortest wash
program to wash glasses correct-
ly.
Black or grey
spots on the
dishes
Aluminium cutlery/acces-
sories have come into con-
tact with the plates.
Use a mild detergent to remove
the spots.
The detergent
compartment
(8) still contains
detergent after
the wash cycle.
The lid of the detergent
compartment was blocked
by dishes.
Rearrange the dishes.
