Pairing the earbuds with a Bluetooth
®
device
Before you can use the earbuds , you must pair them with a com-
patible Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Make sure that the earbuds
are switched off and the Bluetooth
®
device is switched on.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
appliance so that it scans for other Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to do this can be found in
the operating instructions for your Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Press and hold the multifunction switch on the left and right
earbuds for 6 seconds to turn the earbuds on and activate
the Bluetooth
®
function. You will hear the message "Power on –
Connected Left channel / Right channel" and the operating/
charging LED on the left earbud flashes alternately red and
blue. At the same time, the operating/charging LED on the right
earbud flashes every 5 seconds. The left earbud is the main
headphone and establishes the Bluetooth
®
connection with the
Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Select SIBT 16 A1 from the list of found devices on your Bluetooth
®
device to pair the two devices. You will hear the message "Pairing
successful – Connected" if the pairing was successful.
NOTE
► If you do not establish a connection between the earbuds
and your Bluetooth
®
device within 2 minutes, you will hear the
message "Power off" and the earbuds switch off automati-
cally. In this case, you will have to switch the earbuds back
on again before starting the pairing process again.
