Operation and use
Switching the speaker box on/off
♦ Press the On/Off button

for approx. 3 seconds to switch
on the speaker box

. A beep sounds followed by a sequence
of tones and the charging indicator
q lights up. The speaker box

is now in pairing mode.
♦ To switch off the speaker box

press again for about 3 seconds
the On/Off button

. The charging indicator q goes out.
Pairing/unpairing the speaker box with a
Bluetooth
®
playback device
Note
► Before you can use the speaker box

for Bluetooth
®
playback
you must pair it with a compatible Bluetooth
®
playback device.
♦ Switch on the speaker box
6
as described before to activate the
pairing mode.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
playback device so that it scans for
Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to do this can
be found in the operating manual for your Bluetooth
®
playback
device.
♦ Select
SIKL 40 A1
from the list of found devices in your
Bluetooth
®
playback device to pair the two devices. If the
device pairing is successful, you will hear a sequence of beeps.
♦ To terminate the Bluetooth
®
connection, either disable the
Bluetooth
®
function on the Bluetooth
®
playback device
or hold down the Bluetooth
®
pairing button
9 for about
2 seconds until you hear a beep. The speaker box
6 is now in
pairing mode again.
♦ Alternatively, switch the speaker box
6 off as described above
to deactivate the Bluetooth
®
function.
