for the kitchen timer on the display

► If you want to cancel the variable kitchen timer prematurely, press and hold the
VOLUME/DISPLAY/ dial for about 5seconds until the remaining time of the
variable kitchen timer flashes on the display.
► While the remaining time is flashing on the display, press the button

to
switch off the kitchen timer. As soon as the time display or the frequency display
appears, the icon for the kitchen timer disappears.

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket before starting to clean the device.
