Cleaning and changing the filter
The performance of the appliance also depends upon how clean the filter is. The
carbon filter should be cleaned every 2 weeks and replaced every 6 months.
NOTE
► You can purchase new carbon filters in almost all shops selling household
goods. The carbon filter mats just need to be cut to size.
♦ Switch the appliance off and pull out the mains plug .
♦ To remove the air inlet grille , use the recessed grip at the bottom of the
grille. Pull the air inlet grille  backwards.
♦ Vacuum the air inlet grille  or clean it with a soft brush.
♦ To remove the plastic frame  from the air inlet grille , carefully pull it out
under the retaining tabs of the air inlet grille .
♦ Now remove the carbon filter .
♦ Wash the carbon filter  with lukewarm water.
♦ Allow the carbon filter  to dry completely before reinserting it into the
appliance.
♦ Assembly is carried out in the reverse order (see fig. 6).

