SLTR 70 A1 / SLTE 70 A1
Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth
®
music device
Before you can use the speaker for music playback via Bluetooth
®
, you must
pair it with a compatible external Bluetooth
®
playback device.
Press and hold the
button 5
for about 2 seconds to switch the speaker
on and activate the Bluetooth
®
function. The red LED 8 flashes twice
and you will hear a beep. Then, the red LED
8 and the blue LED 9
flash alternately.
Set the external playback device so that it scans for Bluetooth
®
devices.
You can find a detailed description of how to do this in the operating
instructions for your external playback device.
Select the entry SLTR 70 A1 or SLTE 70 A1 from the list of found
Bluetooth
®
devices in the settings menu of your external playback
device. The external playback device is now automatically connected to
the speaker via Bluetooth
®
. You will hear a short beep when the con-
nection has been successfully established and the blue LED
9 lights up.
You can now use the speaker to listen to music from your external playback
device wirelessly. The blue LED
9 flashes every 2 seconds to indicate the
established Bluetooth
®
connection.
NOTE
The next time you turn on the speaker, it will connect automatically to the
last-connected external playback device. If your external playback device
does not automatically reconnect to the speaker, you will have to re-estab-
lish the connection manually. You can find a detailed description of how
to do this in the operating instructions for your external playback device.
If you want to connect the speaker to another external playback device,
you must first unpair the currently connected playback device. To do this,
press the
button 1 for about 2 seconds. You will hear a beep. Alter-
natively, you can disconnect via the currently connected playback device.
If the Bluetooth
®
function is activated, the speaker switches itself off
automatically after 2 minutes if no Bluetooth
®
connection is made to
an external playback device.
As soon as you connect the AUX input 6
to the 3.5 mm jack cable q,
the Bluetooth
®
function is deactivated and the speaker switches to AUX
mode.
