Fitting/removing the protective cap
♦ When you are not using the shaver, protect the shaving head by
putting on the protective cap

Remove the protective cap 1 by pulling it downwards
off the cutting unit 2 (see Fig. 1).

► This appliance is not suitable for wet shaving!
This shaver can be used without the power cable. In this case, you
must charge the appliance before first use (see section Charging
the battery).
1) Ensure the cutting unit
2 is attached and locked in place.
2) Remove the protective cap 1.
3) Press the On/Off switch
6 to switch on the appliance.
The blue control lamp 7 lights up.
