CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE
Do not use the appliance in direct sunlight or in the immedi-
ate vicinity of appliances that produce heat.
Never fill the blender attachment with boiling liquids or very
hot foods! Allow these to cool down until they are lukewarm.
Otherwise the appliance could overheat and the glass of the
blender jug could shatter!
Never operate the appliance when it is empty, in other
words, without any ingredients in the blender attachment.
Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials and protective films from the appliance. Keep
the packaging so you can store the appliance safely or send it, e.g. for repair.
Before starting to use the appliance, ensure that the appliance, the plug and
the mains cable are undamaged.
Clean all of the blender's components carefully before first use (see "Cleaning").
Setting up
When all of the components have been cleaned as described in the section
"Cleaning":
Set up the appliance so...
the mains cable is routed through the notch on the rear of the appli-
ance,
that the plug can be reached at all times so it can be pulled out of the
socket in case of danger,
it is stable and not in danger of slipping, so that the suction cups have
a firm hold, so that the vibration does not tip over the appliance,
that mains cable does not extend into the working area and cannot
tip over the appliance by being pulled accidentally.
