IMPORTANT
The first time the boiler is switched on, the following checks should be made:
– Check that there are no liquids or inflammable materials in the immediate vicinity of the boiler.
– Make sure that the electrical connection is correct and that the earth wire is connected to a good earth plant.
– Open the gas tap and check the seal of the couplings including that of the burner.
– Make sure that the boiler is suitably adapted for functioning with the type of gas supplied.

Check that the combustion products evacuation duct is free and/or correctly fitted.
– Make sure that any shutters are open.
– Make sure that the plant has been loaded with water and that the air has been fully bled off.
– Check that the circulator is not blocked.

Bleed any remaining air from the gas tube using the special tapping vent placed at the gas valve entry.
– The installer must teach the user how the boiler functions and explain the safety devices, and must also hand over to
him/her the logbook.

FONDERIE SIME S.p.A, Via Garbo 27 - Legnago (VR) - Italy, declares that its hot water boilers bearing the CE mark pursuant to Gas
Directive 90/396/CEE and equipped with safety thermostat with maximum temperature set at 110°C, are not included in the field
of application of European Pressure Directive (PED) 97/23/EEC since they comply with the requisites specified in article 1, clause
3.6, of the same.
