Leveling

Turn
the
blades
front-to-back.
On
44"
deck,
measure
the
distance
from
the
ground
to
thefronttip
of
the
center
blade,
and
from
the
ground
to
rear
tips
of
left-hand
and
right
hand
blades.
On
38"
deck,
measure
the
distance
from
the
ground
to
front
tip
of
the
right
blade,
and
from
the
ground
to
the
rear
tips
of
the
left
and
right
hand
blades.
Front
tips
should
be
1/4"
higher
in
front.
For
adjustment,
refer
to
figure
30.
a.
To
raise
front
of
mower
deck,
loosen
front
nut
(A)
and
turn
rear
nut
(B)
against
bracket
(C)
to
shorten
rod
(D).
b.
To
lower
front
of
mower
deck,
loosen
rear
nut
(B)
and
bracket
(C)
will
move
backwards
to
lengthen
rod
(D).
c.
Recheck
measurement
before
tightening
front
nut
