Why is the needle threader not working on my Singer HD6620C?

The needle threader may not be working because the needle is not in the correct position, the needle is inserted incorrectly, the needle is bent, or the hook pin is damaged. Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the hand wheel toward you. Ensure the needle is all the way up in the needle clamp. Remove the bent needle and insert a new one. If the hook pin is damaged, the needle threader needs replacement.
