8. Setting of upper looper in relation to the needle
CHECK
When upper looper is set at its highest position the clearance between the thread hole of the
upper looper (B) and the left side face of the A-needle (right needle) should be according to
4.2~4.5 mm.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Move upper looper to its highest position by turning the handwheel towards you.
2. Loosen screw (C) of the link arm of the upper looper and adjust the looper so that the
clearance between the thread hole of the looper (B) and the left side face of the A-needle
(right needle) is 4.2 - 4.5 mm.
3. Tighten screws (a).
