modern vehicles, avoiding the risk of damages to the vehicles electronic devices.
Equipped with charge current selector, digital ammeter, thermal overload protection,
internal fuse protection against short circuits and polarity reversal & charge timer.
The charge function is carried out without output voltage peaks which could damage
the electronic cards fitted on some vehicles.
Ideal for charging of standard lead acid batteries, AGM, gel & calcium batteries with

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS....cont
This battery charger is equipped with a boosting system that will help to start a vehicle with a
weak battery without damaging the electronics on board the vehicle.
WARNING: Boost starts must be performed when the battery is still fitted to the vehicle.
OPERATING AS A STARTER / BOOSTER
Note: The boosting process will only activate if the battery charger is connected to
a battery and the battery has the following minimum voltage
values: 12V batteries: more than 7.5V, 24V batteries: more than 15V.
Position the AC (input) and DC (output) cables out of the way to reduce risk of damage
by the bonnet / door mechanisms or hot engine parts such as of fan blades, belts, pulleys
and other parts that can cause damage; Also keep hands and body parts clear to ensure no
injury.
Remove the battery caps to allow any excess gas to escape and to prevent the case
bursting (where applicable).
Check battery liquid and top up if required (where applicable).
Check the polarity of the battery posts. The POSITIVE (POS, P, +, Red) battery post usu-ally has
a larger diameter than the NEGATIVE (NEG, N, -, Black) post.
Determine which post of the battery is grounded (connected) to the chassis - Normally
negative.
For a negative grounded vehicle:
Connect the positive (+) (red) lead to the correct voltage terminal (on the starter charger
depending on the voltage of the battery to be charged (12v or 24v)
