COMPONENT MAINTENANCE MANUAL
ASSEMBLY
1. General Procedure.
The work must be done in a clean environment and in an area free from magnetic
interference.
There must be no magnetic tools or equipment near the assembly or test areas.
Use a new gasket (60 ), washer (200 ) and filling plug disc (210 ) for each
overhaul.
2. Tools and Equipment.
Items 1 to 10, 13, and 15 to 20 of Page Block 9001 ‘SPECIAL TOOL, FIXTURES
AND EQUIPMENT’.
Materials necessary for assembly are detailed in table 7001 below.

3. Procedure
A. Magnetising the Compass Card (130)
The compass card will be magnetised by the manufacturer to the correct value.
SIRS Navigation Ltd., will supply special information if it is necessary for a
repair agent to re-magnetise the card.
