Remove adjusting
cap
screw e.
2.
Turn
the
pulJey
toward
yourself until screw e comes to
the hole
for
the
adjusting
cap
screw.
3.
Loosen screw e with screwdriver, turn the pulley about
one-quarter
of
a
turn
in
the
same
direction
so
that
horizontal
eccentric adjusting screw
e wilJ come to
th
e hole
for
the
adjusting cap screw.
4.
Stitch length decreases when horizontal eccentric adjusting
screw
e is turned clockwise with screwdriver, and increased
when
the
same
screw
is turned counterclockwise. Exercise
care
to
keep the feed dogs clear
of
the
slot
in the needle
plate.
5.
After
the
above-mentioned adJustment retighten screw e
securely.
