What to do if the SKF Water Pump user interface displays alarm for low pressure in a lubrication channel?
    • A
      Anthony CarterAug 14, 2025
If the user interface displays an alarm for low pressure in a lubrication channel on your SKF Water Pump, it could be because the lubricant has stiffened in the piping due to operating conditions like cold or heat, there are leaks in the header piping, or there is air in the header piping. To fix this, try setting a longer maximum pressurization time or changing to a more appropriate lubricant. Locate and repair any leakage, and remove air from the header and branch piping. Finally, reset the alarm.

      Mark Douglas DVMAug 18, 2025
If the user interface of your SKF Water Pump displays a lubricant low level alarm in a lubrication channel, this indicates that the lubricant barrel is empty. Replace the lubricant barrel and then reset the alarm.

What to do if there is considerable grease leakage at the lubrication point of the SKF MAXILUBE Water Pump?
    • J
      Jessica MedinaAug 21, 2025
If you observe considerable grease leakage at the lubrication point and the bearing temperature rises in your SKF Water Pump, it suggests that the lubrication cycle has been set too short. Check the correct lubrication cycle at the doser setting table of the lubrication system in question.

What to do if the SKF MAXILUBE user interface displays alarm for high pressure in a lubrication channel?
    • J
      John DanielAug 25, 2025
If the user interface displays an alarm for high pressure in a lubrication channel for the SKF Water Pump, and the pressure at the pressure control unit is above the set pressure low limit value when pressurization starts, the control valve at the hydraulic part may not be operating. Replace control cartridge CHV-100 when necessary.

What to do if the SKF MAXILUBE does not start?
    • R
      Ralph LewisAug 28, 2025
If the SKF Water Pump doesn't start, it could be due to several reasons: the pressure air supply might be closed, the pressure air level might not be high enough, or the supply voltage might be off. To resolve this, turn on the pressure air supply by pressing down the shut-off valve button or set the air pressure to 3,5-4,5 bar using the pressure regulator and the pressure gauge. Also, check that the pressure at the pressure air regulator is 3,5-4,5 bar. Inspect the pressure air supply piping for leaks. Ensure the LED-signal of the pump is lit, the supply voltage is on, and the M12 cable is correctly connected and in good condition.

Why does the SKF Water Pump start but the pressure does not rise?
    • J
      jameswashingtonAug 31, 2025
If the SKF Water Pump starts but the pressure doesn't rise, the pressure air level might not be high enough. Check that the pressure at the pressure air regulator is 3,5-4,5 bar and inspect the pressure air supply piping for leaks.

What to do if the SKF MAXILUBE Water Pump starts but the pressure does not rise?
    • J
      jason23Sep 3, 2025
If the SKF Water Pump starts, but the pressure doesn't rise, the grease filter may be clogged, there may be air in the suction piping of the pump or there may be impurities in the suction head of the pump. You can clean or replace the grease filter cartridge. Remove air from the pump by opening the venting screw of the grease filter or the pressure connection of the pump, ensuring that only grease (not air) comes out.

Why the green LED-signal POWER and the user interface of the SKF MAXILUBE control center are not lit?
    • A
      Anna ZimmermanSep 7, 2025
If the green LED-signal POWER and the user interface of the SKF Water Pump control center are not lit, it could be that the main switch of the control center is in the OFF-position, or the fuse has operated. Turn the main switch to the ON-position and check the fuse.

How to fix display and LED-signals of the SKF Maxilube Water Pump user interface if they are not lit?
    • Y
      Yvette HenrySep 10, 2025
If the display and LED-signals of the SKF Maxilube Water Pump user interface are not lit, it indicates that there is no supply voltage at the pumping center. Check the supply voltage.
