2. Connect your PC to the Sky wireless router
• From your PC. go to the Start Menu, select Settings and then select
Network Connections (if this option is not present, select Control Panel
instead to open the Control Panel window, then select Network and
Internet Connections, then select Network Connections to open the
Network Connections w.indow).
• Select Wireless Network Connection to open the Wireless Network
Connection window.
•
The Sky wireless router wireless network should appear in the list of
available networks (this will be listed as SKY followed by 5 numbers,
e.g.
SKY12345).
• Click on the Sky wireless router wireless network listed,
and select
Connect.
• As the Sky wireless router has now been set to WEP encryption,
a window
will appear asking you to enter your WEP Key
(or Network Key) before your PC will be connected.
•
Enter the WEP Key you created in Step 1 into the Network Key box
(a string of 26 letters and numbers, e.g . 5CD9894140A6FF7EB896AF6789).
• Enter the WEP Key again in the Confirm network key box and
select Connect.
• You should now be connected wirelessly to your Sky wireless router.
The connection will show as Connected in the Wireless Network
Connection Window.
