  To troubleshoot your smartheart Blood Pressure Monitor, try the following: - Ensure the cuff is applied correctly and attempt a new measurement. - Review the ‘Taking a Measurement’ portion of this manual and try again. - Wait for a period of calm before attempting a new measurement; do not speak or move during measurement. - Check the battery polarity and reinstall if necessary; replace with new batteries. - Remove batteries for at least five minutes, then reinstall and try again. - Replace the batteries. - Remove and reinsert the batteries, then attempt a new measurement.
