Why does the Smeg Dryer take so long to dry?
- JJames CastilloAug 7, 2025
If your Smeg Dryer takes a long time to dry clothes, several factors could be the cause. The lint filter surface may be clogged, so wash it with lukewarm water. The heat exchanger might be clogged and require cleaning. Ensure the ventilation grills are open to prevent the room temperature from rising too much. Clean the humidity sensor if there's limescale buildup. Avoid overloading the dryer and select a higher spin speed on your washing machine to ensure laundry is sufficiently spun before drying.
