On an empty kitchen
If there are other pieces of furniture under the
hob, a double-layer wooden base must be
installed at least 20 mm from the bottom of the
hob to avoid any accidental contact. It must
only be possible to remove the double-layer
base using suitable equipment.
Flush mounting (mm)
For this type of mounting, you have to make an
additional cut at the edges of the recess in the
furniture if you wish to install the hob flush with
the countertop.
Failure to install the double-layer
wooden base exposes the user to
possible accidental contact with sharp
or hot parts.
If installed on top of an oven, the latter
must be equipped with a cooling fan.
