Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Smoke hollow VT280B1?
    • K
      Karen JacksonAug 12, 2025
If the flame on your Smoke hollow Grill is yellow or orange, it could be due to several reasons: * A new burner may have residual manufacturing oils. Burn the grill for 15 minutes on “HIGH” with the lid closed to burn them off. * Spider webs or insect nests may be in the venturi. Clean the venturi and burner assembly. * Food residue or grease may be present. Clean the burner assembly. * The valve may be poorly aligned to the burner venturi, or the air shutter on the burner may need adjustment. Ensure the burner venturi is properly engaged with the regulator stem, and loosen the screw at the burner venturi to adjust the air shutter to be between 1/8”-1/4” for proper air and gas mixture.
