Snap-on Tools Company provides safety messages to
cover reasonable situations that may be encountered
when operating, servicing or repairing cordless tools. It
is the responsibility of operators and servicing
technicians to be knowledgeable about the procedures,
tools and materials used, and to satisfy themselves that
the procedures, tools and materials will not compromise
their safety, that of others in the work place or the tool.

Risk of electric shock and fi re.
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to
follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT, BASIC PRECAUTIONS
SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING:
1. Read all the instructions before using the product.
2. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is
necessary when the product is used near children.
3. Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
4. Do not expose engine starter to rain or snow.
5. Use only recommended attachments. Use of an
attachment not recommended or sold by engine
starter manufacturer may result in a risk of fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
6. To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and
cord, pull the plug rather than the cord when
disconnecting the engine starter.
7. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries
may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,
explosion or risk of injury.
8. Do not operate the engine starter if it has received a
sharp blow, been dropped or otherwise damaged in
any way; take it to a qualified service person.
9. Do not operate the engine starter with a damaged
cord or plug, or a damaged output cable.
10. Do not disassemble the engine starter, take it to a
qualified service person when service or repair is
required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
fire or electric shock.
11. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the engine
starter from the outlet before attempting any
instructed servicing,

WORKING IN THE VICINITY OF A LEAD-ACID BATTERY IS
DANGEROUS. BATTERIES GENERATE EXPLOSIVE
GASES DURING NORMAL BATTERY OPERATION. FOR
THIS REASON, IT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE
THAT YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EACH TIME
YOU USE THE ENGINE STARTER.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BATTERY EXPLOSION,
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND THOSE
PUBLISHED BY BATTERY MANUFACTURER AND
MANUFACTURER OF ANY EQUIPMENT YOU INTEND TO
USE IN VICINITY OF THE BATTERY. REVIEW
CAUTIONARY MARKING ON THESE PRODUCTS AND ON
THE ENGINE.
1. Do not set the engine starter on flammable materials
such as carpeting, upholstery, paper cardboard, etc.
2. Never place the engine starter directly above battery
being jumped.
3. Do not use the engine starter to jump start a vehicle
while charging the internal battery.
4. NEVER immerse the engine starter in water or any
other liquid, or use when wet. Do not operate near
flammable materials, fumes or gases. DO NOT
expose to extreme heat or flames.
