SOS Features
SOS Emergency Button
The SOS button located on the back of your ez4G is capable of emitting
a loud siren, sending text messages to as many as five preprogrammed
contacts, and dialing those same contacts until it reaches either an answer or
a voicemail. While in the SOS call sequence the ez4G will be in speaker phone
mode for calls.
Note: If you signed up for sosPlus Mobile Monitoring Service®, the SOS
button will be preprogrammed with the sosPlus® phone numbers in the 1st
& 2nd contact positions. It is critical that you do not modify or delete these
contact numbers.
SOS Siren
The Siren, when engaged, sounds when the SOS Button is pressed for 3-5
seconds and is intended to alert those around you that you need help.
The siren plays for only a few moments prior to calling and texting SOS
contacts sequentially. The SOS Siren can be Enabled or Disabled in the SOS
application. Switch On Siren or Switch Off Siren is also available in the SOS
app. to alert those nearby without activating SOS sequence.
SOS Application
The SOS application can be found within the Menu, Applications, then SOS.
When accessing these settings you will first be prompted with a warning
stating, "WARNING Changing these settings could disable you SOS system�
CONTINUE?" Select Yes or No to continue or exit.
