Why won't my Snapper Lawn Mower engine start?
- DDaniel MillerAug 17, 2025
Your Snapper Lawn Mower engine might not start due to several reasons: - The blade engagement switch may be in the “ON” position. If so, move it to “OFF”. - The park brake might not be set; ensure it is set. - The fuel tank could be empty; refill it with fresh fuel. - The engine may need choking; move the choke control to the “CHOKE” position. - The spark plug wire could be disconnected; place it back onto the spark plug. - The battery might be weak or dead; service the battery. - There may be a faulty parking brake, blade, or ignition switch. In this case, contact an authorized SNAPPER dealer.
